Thurstons Milk Stout 4.5% abv

from £3.80

A traditional Milk Stout. Dark, creamy and full bodied with chocolate and coffee notes.

Thurstons Milk Stout was created to satisfy one of our brewers, Ed. A self confessed beer geek. Ed had long wanted to brew a milk stout that was true to the original style from the early 1900’s. Most milk stouts had an original gravity higher than today owing their full flavour to black, brown & chocolate malts & of course lactose.

Ed followed this more traditional recipe which resulted in a full-bodied stout brimming with chocolate taste & coffee aroma. It makes an excellent dessert beer, rich & complex enough to complement food, yet not too filling.

A multi award winning Milk Stout, Awards include:
Awarded Silver at The London & South East Regional Champion Beers of Britain 2014.
1st Overall Woking Beer Festival 2014. 1st Overall Gosport Winterfest 2013
